Why are we fundraising?
The renal day unit team at The James Cook University Hospital in Middlesbrough carries out more than 3,000 appointments each year.
We have set out to raise £500,000 to help develop a new and improved renal unit to ensure our patients receive their outstanding kidney care in a first class facility.
Thanks to advances in medical care the number of patients now being treated as outpatients on the unit has increased, however the unit’s existing space could be better utilised.
Our aim is to create a bright, modern and welcoming environment for our patients while also increasing clinical space and bringing our renal specialist nursing team together in one place.
We need your support!
